Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, MSW, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I have diverse and rich experience including school-based and community mental health, in-patient psychiatric care, medical social work, residential treatment, as well as supervision in these areas.
My therapeutic approach is both insight and solution focused, with an emphasis in increasing coping skills, resources and awareness, decreasing symptoms, and enhancing creative problem-solving capabilities. In addition to tradition talk therapies, I use play, movement/hoop-dance and expressive arts therapies to tap into life metaphors and enhance self esteem.
I provide my clients a holistic approach from a Trauma-Sensitive, Strength-Based and Environmental lens, and work in conjunction with the family, school, and community. I believe as humans, no matter our age, we hold the innate capacity for change through support, creativity and our internal and external resources. I  lead a Movement-Based (Hooping and Art) Therapy Group for teens.
